HYPOSPADIAS SURGERY
Hypospadias is a birth defect in boys in which the opening of the urethra is on the undersurface of the penis, instead of at its tip. This anomaly is corrected through hypospadias surgery, which aims to bring the urethra opening to its normal position and restore the normal shape and function of the urethra.
If hypospadias is not treated it can lead to difficulty in urinating while standing, and may also affect sexual function and psychological well-being.
